Introduction:
     The nation watched in horror as, one by one, the details of over 30 murders came to light and most of the victims, entombed in the crawl space under his house, were unearthed. Based on a true story of one of the most prolific serial killers in American history, "Gacy" will leave you shocked and in disbelief.

The Film:
     Being that "Gacy" has to stay true to the real-life material it has, the movie was quite interesting, but I felt like they left out a bunch of stuff. The build-up was good, but it could have been so much better. The acting job by the man playing Gacy was good, but the rest of the actors sucked. I understand if this movie did not have a big budget, but they could have got some decent actors to play the roles a lot better. The film itself is quite intriguing, but it lacks something to make it stand out. It's not that scary as a horror movie, nor does the movie pay off with a solid ending. Still, if you follow the crimes committed by "Gacy", then you might find this movie to be good for a watch or two, but there is nothing major to see from anyone else. *1/2

Video Quality:
The movie is presented in Fullscreen 1.33:1, which is decent at best. **

Sound Quality:
2-Channel setup for both English & Spanish audio setups. Really cheap ass DVD production values. **

DVD Extras:
Included is a commentary track from the director & actor of the "Gacy", plus the movie's trailer. That's pretty much it. Oh, plus the Spanish language setup. **

Final Thoughts:
     Overall, the movie was butchered thanks to the bad acting from everyone, aside from the "Gacy" actor. The production values of the DVD itself are horrible & cheap. For the love of god, don't waste any money buying this piece of crap. Rent it if you are interested in the "Gacy" murders like I once was. Avoid it & THUMBS WAY DOWN!
